One day - two events for free rivers! We are pleased to announce the International Wild Rivers Science Symposium and the Wild Rivers Night in Tirana/Albania on October 18th, 2019.

 

 

The International Wild Rivers Science Symposium (IWRS), hosted by the University Tirana in cooperation with the University of Vienna, will bring together renowned scientists from around the world to discuss the condition of the world's last wild rivers and ways to protect them.

When: October 18th, 2019 - 09:00-17:00

Where: Antigonea hall, Rogner Hotel, Bulevardi Dëshmorët e Kombit, 1001, Tirana, ALBANIA

The symposium will conclude with a Wild Rivers Night - an entertaining evening for free-flowing rivers with live music by “Asgjë Sikur Dielli” and selected talks by Robert Naiman (USA), Aleko Miho (Albania) and Klement Tockner (Austria).
